Milk and honey baths are deeply calming, soothing and moisturizing.  This recipe will help you soak your worries away while creating luxuriously soft skin!

1 1/2 c organic dry whole milk powder
1/3 c baking soda
1/3 c cornstarch
1/4 c honey
4 drops lavender essential oil
4 drops ginger essential oil
2 drops neroli essential oil


  1. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly in a bowl, then add the powder to the running warm bath water, breaking up any clumps if needed.
  2. Mix honey and essential oils together, once tub is filled and water is shut off,  add the honey blend to bath water.  If you add the essential oils while the water is running it will quickly disperse the essential oils.
  3. Enjoy your heavenly soak for 10-20 minutes; afterwards rinse with a short shower.

Lavender and neroli are deeply calming, while ginger is warming.  If you do not have access to these oils, just pick 5-10 drops of your favorite.  Always add essential oils to a bath in a carrier such as honey or milk; never drop essential oils directly into bath water, they will settle on the top, potentially causing irritation to the skin.   For children cut the essential oils to 2-3 drops total or omit completely.
