Andrea Russell is a yoga teacher and a licensed massage therapist specializing in neurovascular/craniosacral therapy and AromaAcupoint Therapy. She began teaching yoga and practicing bodywork in 2000. A registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance at the 500-E level, she has completed teacher trainings in Ashtanga, Alignment, and Therapeutic Yoga. Her primary teachers are Scott Anderson and Michael Stone.
Her classes integrate meditation and a mindful approach to asana that brings attention to anatomy, optimal alignment, breath, and inner awareness. Andrea is the Assistant Director and a lead instructor for Alignment Yoga’s teacher training programs. She also teaches for Olive Tree Yoga Foundation’s teacher training in Bethlehem, Palestine. She has a thriving private practice within the Quarry Arts building in Madison, where she resides with her lovable pitbull Lucy.
